My Seacret™Story (and a little about me)

I was bestowed with the title of Maid of Honor for a friend's wedding, and we were doing the seemingly neverending circuit of bridal expos, when a breath of fresh air came through my facebook mailbox: a popup bridal event...at a bar. Being the alcohol aficionados that we are, we were definitely interested. It was a very intimate event, so we got a lot of time to talk to each of the vendors. Thank GOODNESS, because I may have missed out on the skin that I love so much now.

Let's back up a bit. I am a doctor...of philosophy. That means I spend a lot of time staring at the computer screen while writing up research, don't have many days off (no, not even weekends), and generally spend my life in a zombified state. Skincare was the least of my problems; I was more concerned where and when I could get my next cup of coffee and if I was going to make it to my next meeting in time. I came home and passed out without even attempting to take off my makeup--when I actually wore it--and never even thought about washing my face (oh, the horror!).

OK, back to the bar. We walked all the way to the back, where a reclining lawn chair was set up next to a booth marked Seacret™. The two agents greeted us warmly and talked to us a little about the upcoming nuptials. During the conversation, it came up that we were both bartenders (oh yeah, did I mention that I do that, too?) and our hands are constantly dry from being in water all the time. The agent whipped out the Salt & Oil Scrub and we were amazed! She followed that with the Body Butter and we were basically throwing money at her. Maybe this doesn't sound like a big deal, but bar hands are a very real problem for which I have tried at least 10 different "healing" products with no luck. We wanted the stuff, no matter what.

Then, the agent explained about the Preferred Customer perks and how we really should order a third product because bundling makes the products cheaper. But what to get? Since there were not that many people at the bar yet, she graciously gave us a demonstration of more products AND a free facial. I tried the Facial Cleansing Milk, Mineral Peeling Gel, Mineral Rich Clarifying Mud Mask, and Refresh Moisturizer because my skin was apparently really dry and I had no idea. I really never knew my skin could feel as good as it did when she was done! I listened to the agent's recommendations and ended up ordering the Salt & Oil Scrub, Body Butter, Facial Cleansing Milk, Mineral Rich Magnetic Mud Mask (umm...you remove it with a magnet...the nerd in me melted and had to have it), and the Refresh Vitamin-Rich Moisturizer (it has vitamin filled capsules that burst when you rub it in...feels amazing). I met my boyfriend for dinner and immediately insisted he touch my face and hold my hands (they still felt awesome two hours later). He wasn't all that impressed, but I bet if he didn't have a beard covering most of his face he might be more interested.

Once I received and started using my products, I saw a visible difference in my skin. Not to mention how awesome my face FELT. I was sold. In fact, a male bartender (yes, I know a lot of them) whom I haven't seen in awhile told me I looked great while motioning to my face, and actually wanted to touch it. I used to hate reviewing photos of me when they popped up on facebook, but I have actually loved the last three that others have posted of me because my face seemingly glows and makes me look awesome. I have since added many other Seacret products to my skincare regimen (wait...I have one of those now?!), and love them all.

So, please, please, please do not hesitate to try these products. I never thought that I would become a slave to a skincare line, let alone want to sell the stuff and spread the word about it. I still can't believe this is my story, but I am so glad that I have it to tell.
